Spooky Halloween Margarita
Fresh lemon and lime juice, Tequila Añejo, simple syrup and activated charcoal makes this the prefect spooky season Cocktail!
Equipment
- Cocktail Shaker + Jigger
- Measuring Spoon
- Cutting Board + Knife
- Margarita or specialty cocktail glass
Ingredients
- 1 Lemon juiced
- 1 Lime Juiced
- ½ oz Simple Syrup (recipe below)
- 1 ½ oz Tequila Añejo
- ¼ tsp Activated Charcoal
- Purple Sugar For rim
- Dried orange slice
- Ice
- Edible Glitter
Instructions
- In a shallow plate spread colored sugar. Run a lime wedge around the rim. Dip the glass in the sugar until rim is well coated. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker add about 4 ice cubes.
- Using the jigger add lime and lemon juices, simple syrup, Tequila añejo and Activated charcoal.
- Shake vigorously until its frothy (about 10 times).
- In the prepared glass add a few ice cubes and pour your margarita. Add a dash of edible glitter, stir and garnish with dried orange slice.

Notes
How to Make Simple Syrup - Add 1 cup of water and one cup of sugar into a saucepan in low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool off and pour into a container refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
